Pub Street

Pub StreetOfficially named Street 8, Pub Street is the heart of Siem Reap’s nightlife, drawing visitors from all over the world. This lively 100-meter stretch, starting at the Red Piano Restaurant and ending at Banana Leaf, transforms into a pedestrian-only party zone every night. Bright neon lights, pumping music, and a wide mix of bars, restaurants, and street food vendors bring this area to life after sunset.

Thanks to recent renovations during the COVID-19 period, Pub Street now offers a smoother and more comfortable experience, even during the rainy season. It’s nestled near the Siem Reap River and close to markets, making it an easy stop for those exploring the city.

Originally a modest street with just a few restaurants, Pub Street grew in popularity after the success of the movie Tomb Raider, which showcased Angkor Wat to the world. Today, it’s a buzzing hub of backpackers and party lovers. Don’t miss out on trying Cambodian BBQ, fried ice cream rolls, or daring snacks like scorpions and tarantulas. For drinks, enjoy 75-cent beers or try a Tomb Raider cocktail at the Red Piano.

As the night deepens, bars like Angkor WHAT? and Temple Club keep the energy alive with loud music and dancing. If you want a quieter vibe, head to nearby Sok San Street or Night Market Street for cozier pubs.

Whether you're out for a wild party or a cultural food trip, Pub Street promises an unforgettable evening in Siem Reap.
